Since March 1, the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan "on further strengthening of measures for the prevention of corona virus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan" has come into force.
Countries where COVID-19 infections have been reported are divided into three categories.
а – China and Iran
The ones who arrived from these countries are quarantined for 14 days. Further they are treated in primary health care organizations (hereinafter PHC) within 10 days after discharge (daily call).
b – Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, South Korea, Italy and Japan
For those arriving from countries on this list, a home quarantine is provided with the exception of visiting crowded places under the supervision of PHC employees for 14 days. After the end of the period there is also a daily call for 10 days.
Category 2-Singapore, Thailand, Azerbaijan
Arrivals will be monitored for 14 days at the place of residence provided that medical workers will visit them every day and call during 10 days.
Category 3 – Germany, USA, UAE, UK, France, Bahrain, Kuwait, Spain, Malaysia
Arrivals will be monitored by PHC staff at their place of residence by calling for 24 days.
